Kitesurfing in Noordwijk
These images capture the raw energy and human stories behind kitesurfing in Noordwijk. From the high-stakes intensity of the Red Bull Megaloop to the innovative spirit of Knoll Kitesurfboards, my focus is on the people in motion—the moments of concentration, joy, and connection that unfold against the dramatic backdrop of wind, waves, and the North Sea coastline. These photos reveal the soul of the sport: a blend of adrenaline, craftsmanship, and respect for the elements.
Reserva Playa Tortuga, Costa Rica
This shoot was part of my volunteering work for Reserva Playa Tortuga, a sea turtle conservation project on Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula. I focused on the people behind the work — their presence, dedication and the environment in which they protect nesting beaches and hatchlings. The project was created pro bono, as a way to contribute through photography to RPT’s daily conservation efforts.
Rehearsal Dinner in Tuscany
It was the day before a wedding in Tuscany. While the evening unfolded around the long tables outside, the groom stood in the kitchen with his longtime friends, cooking for all the guests. I quietly shot the scene as it happened — unposed, focused on the story behind the celebration.

As a volunteer coach and photographer, I don’t just document the game—I capture the soul of VV SJC Noordwijk. Whether it’s in the quiet pride of youth trainers signing contracts, the laughter of players after practice, or the easy camaraderie at summer camp. These images are more than moments; they’re a celebration of what makes SJC special: 'Competition, Passion and Friendship' (oftewel: Striid, Passie en Vriendschap)
